Sesame-Crusted Tofu

Tofu coated with sesame and pan-fried.

Ingredients

  • 200g firm tofu, cut into rectangles
  • 2 tbsp white sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ½ tsp salt

Steps

  1. Marinate: Coat tofu with soy sauce, ginger, and salt. Rest 10 minutes.
  2. Crust: Dust with cornflour, then press sesame seeds onto surface.
  3. Pan-Fry: Heat sesame oil in pan, fry tofu until golden on each side.
  4. Serve: Pair with soy dipping sauce.
